Hereford Inlet Lighthouse (1874) known as the "Victorian Lighthouse" is a unique "stick style" building designed by Paul J. Pelz (designer of the Library of Congress). It is a working Lighthouse as well as a museum, showcasing the life of a Lighthouse keeper in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The lighthouse has a gift shop on the first floor and surrounding the building are award winning English gardens with 200 plant varieties.
